Our story

Welcome to Zekko Kids, a small handmade brand creating simple and timeless quality pieces for little girls and boys.

My name is Iva, I'm a mom of a boy and a girl and the maker behind Zekko Kids. Sewing for kids developed into a passion of mine during maternity leave when I spent all my free time sewing up tiny outfits.

I built my brand on the belief that there will always be a place for the handmade. That there is a yearning for simplicity, integrity and enduring craftsmanship. There is such joy in sewing pieces that remain part of your most important milestones – 1st birthday parties, Christenings and wedding days.

All Zekko Kids pieces are designed with little humans in mind and are meant to be, not only beautiful but also comfortable and practical, for adventures and play.

Every single piece is lovingly handmade by me in my studio from 100% natural linen –sustainable, durable and functional fabric. It is an honest material, a considered choice and designing with longevity and purpose should be fundamental to kids' clothing. In today's throw-away society I seek to fill my home with quality pieces that I love, that are made with integrity.

It is my hope that Zekko Kids pieces are a comforting collection of handmade and purposeful clothes for your loved ones.
